Update about COVID-19

Update: April 9th, 2020

Dear friends of William Way LGBT Community Center:

This is an update to our earlier announcements of the postponement of all public programs that meet in our building.

We have extended the closing of the Center's building for public programs for the foreseeable future. We will inform you immediately when we decide to reopen the building. Tenants of the building who have keys and security codes can continue to use the building.

We are actively pursuing the programs of the Center on-line and through staff outreach.

  • If you have rented a space from the Center for the foreseeable future, please reach out to Avis at avis@waygay.org to reschedule your event.

  • If you would like to use one of the Center's Zoom accounts for a program, please reach out to Marshall Siegel at info@waygay.org with the request, including the date, time, and duration of your meeting.

  • If you have questions about our Senior programs, please reach out to Ed Miller at emiller@waygay.org.

  • If you have questions about a donation, giving history or would like to make a donation, please email development@waygay.org.

  • You can also reach us 24/7 at the following connections:

    • Call us at 215-732-2220 and leave a message with voice mail, and we will call you back as quickly as possible.

    • Email us at info@waygay.org, and your message will be forwarded to the right person.

    • Message us on Facebook or Instagram, which we will be checking regularly. We will also post updates there as needed.

During this time of the closure of the Center's physical building, the Center's staff will be closely monitoring email, voice mail, and social media. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is any way we can be helpful.
